Thursday was a BEAUTIFUL day in Pittsburgh, so we got out and made the most of it. First, I took the boys to the zoo.
Phin loves the aquarium the most, and just wants to "go see the fish." He loves sharks the best. The zoo just got some new sand tiger sharks, and these are a hit with Phin.
You can't tell from the picture, but Silas really seems to like the zoo. He laughs and kicks, and gives anyone who will make eye contact with him great big smiles.
Phin fell asleep on the way home from the zoo, so after his early nap, we all walked to lunch at our favorite spot in our neighborhood. We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful meal with Daddy. When we got home we stayed outside to draw with chalk and blow bubbles (which Phin hasn't quite mastered yet-- he does more spitting than blowing-- watch out birthday cake). Later we went to Grandma and Grandpa Heasley's to play in the sandbox and eat pizza. Pheeww. A busy day, but a great one. I love spring.
