Almost a year

Here is some stuff you may or may not know about our "baby."
1. He HATES to nap. Much to my chagrine.
2. He LOVES to eat. I don't know where he puts all the food he eats. Caleb said this morning that he eats food like it's going out of style.
3. He is WALKING. Toddling between rooms carrying things walking. He can squat down, pick something up, stand up, and walk away again. He started walking when he was 10 months, and I still can't believe it. It wreaks havoc on my house. I need an invisible fence for my baby.
4. He is SMART. He knows exactly what you are saying to him. He listens to commands better than I'd expect from an 11 month old. He doesn't listen even better than he listens. :)
5. His SMILE lights up the room.

Love, love, love him.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend in York with Caleb's parents. Friday we went to Dutch Wonderland, an amusement park in Lancaster, PA that's geared towards kids.

This was Phin's favorite ride (meaning he didn't cry on it).

In the car on the way home... he must have had fun.

Enjoying Saturday evening on the patio after dinner.

Captain Underpants at his sandbox.

Sunday, we went to Inner Harbor in Baltimore to meet my friend from college, Erica, and her boyfriend Bryan. It was a great afternoon, and so good to see Erica and meet Bryan.

Grandma bought Phin a sticker book of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures,
and they spent THE WHOLE AFTERNOON working intently on it.
Thanks, Grandma!

Monday turned out to be a pretty low-key day. Grandpa and Daddy got out the electric trains for Phin.

Captain Underpants makes another appearance.

First day of school, first day of school!!!

Phineas had his first day of school last week (it was really the second day of school, but he was home sick on the real first day). He was really excited and really seemed to like it! So far, so good.

This is him dancing and twirling while waiting to get in the car.

School is gonna ROOOOCCCKKKK!

He made a beeline for the sand table,
and we could barely get him to come over and say bye to us.

Which do I choose?

So, in case you couldn't tell, Caleb has a new camera. And I have way too many good pictures to choose from. So here are some random ones. We have been trying to enjoy this cooler, sunny, beautiful weather.
